Why were Romero's zombie films and 28 Days Later so great? The undead weren't a joke like they were in Return of the Living Dead, Thriller, and numerous other atrocities.
Not to say I didn't "enjoy" Return of the Living Dead, just that I'd much rather see zombies as much more of a threat.
Nearly forgot to add this: The infected in 28 Days Later weren't technical zombies (they had the virus, but were not dead). They can just as easily be killed with gunfire as a human (i.e., you don't have to hit them in the head).
You get the idea, though.
Zombies absolutely FASCINATE me.

1/2 oz Bacardi? 151 rum
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz orange juice
1/2 oz apricot brandy
1 tsp sugar
2 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz lime juice
